About this conference
Starting out as a student trustee can be both exciting and challenging, with new responsibilities and a lot to learn about the board, the college, and effective leadership. This workshop is centered on where student voice aligns with leadership influence, helping participants build the confidence and skills needed to effectively represent and advocate for their peers. Student board members will gain a stronger understanding of their responsibilities as leaders while exploring ways to support the needs of their communities and prepare for future trends in education. The workshop also provides an opportunity to meet and connect with other student trustees from across the state.
