2026 Southern District ITE Annual Meeting

The Southern District ITE (SDITE) Annual Meeting is the premier gathering of transportation professionals across the southeastern United States. Each year, engineers, planners, and industry leaders come together to share expertise, explore new technologies, and shape the future of mobility and transportation systems in our communities. This annual meeting is a weekend extravaganza of presentations, displays, networking, contests, and awards, offering camaraderie, entertainment, and educational opportunities. It has a rich tradition of bringing over 300 transportation professionals from academia, government, and private practice together to exchange practical ideas and experiences while socializing. The meeting includes numerous excellent technical sessions with engineering and planning tracks, a golf tournament, a social event sponsored by the Associated Business Division (ABD), a spouse/guest program, and a half-day professional development seminar. The technical program keeps members informed of the latest innovations and current practices, while ABD displays showcase new technologies. The Scholarship Challenge, or traffic bowl, provides students an opportunity to compete in transportation knowledge. The annual banquet concludes the event, with awards presented to sections, student chapters, and members for their efforts and contributions to the transportation profession.
