About this conference
The 25th Annual Social Equity Leadership Conference (SELC) is co-hosted by the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers University-Newark, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) Standing Panel on Social Equity Governance. This year's theme, 'Leading and Learning Toward a Future for All,' features six tracks: Leadership in the Public and Nonprofit Sectors; Pursuing Equity and Safeguarding Civil Rights; Challenges to Higher Education in a Changing World; Impacts of Federal Policy Changes on State & Local Governments and Nonprofit Organizations; Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Evidence; and Governance, Equity, and Human Rights Around the World. The conference will bring together policymakers, practitioners, scholars, and students for a national dialogue to challenge thinking and stimulate collective, creative efforts in advancing fairness, opportunity, and justice for all through cutting-edge leadership.
