The New Directions Seminar (NDS) is SSP's dynamic annual event that convenes leading professionals from across the scholarly communication ecosystem to explore what's next in publishing, research, and technology, under the theme "What Is a Journal in 2030? Co-Creating the Near-Term Future in Scholarly Publishing". With insightful programming and valuable networking opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere, NDS fosters innovation, dialogue, and professional development across the global scholarly community. The program runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, followed by a social hour from 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm.
Sponsorship options
Sponsorship opportunities are available for the New Directions Seminar. Options include Charter sponsorships (Social Hour: $3,000, Keynote: $2,500), Explorer sponsorships (General Seminar: $2,000, Breakfast: $2,000), and Navigator sponsorships (Coffee Break: $1,500, Virtual Event: $1,500).
