2026 SCAPT Division 1 Directors' Conference

The South Carolina Association for Pupil Transportation is a statewide non-profit 501C Corporation and professional organization that recognizes pupil transportation as a basic contributor to an effective education system. Advancing safe, efficient, and professional student transportation through education and training initiatives for transportation professionals in South Carolina. Planned conference topics include: Active Shooter Training, CDL Compliance, Special Needs Transportation, Vendor Roundtable Discussions, Directors' Roundtable, and Networking Sessions. The Directors' Roundtable will provide an opportunity for transportation leaders to collaborate with peers from districts of similar size and demographics. Discussion topics may include: COFETD, Student Discipline, Driver Recruitment and Retention, Driver Management Strategies, CDL Training Programs, School Bus Requests and Fleet Planning, and Transportation Considerations for New School Openings. Additional sessions are expected to include an engaging Keynote Speaker and State Office Updates.
