2026 Population Health Innovation Summit

Hosted by NYSTEC, New York’s Partner in Transformation, the annual Population Health Innovation Summit (PHIS) brings together 250+ leaders from government, health care, technology, nonprofits, and academia to share ideas that improve population health across New York State. Population Health Innovation Summit 2026 will focus on strengthening social connections. We seek to highlight projects and ideas that deepen relationships, reduce social isolation, and foster community engagement. Topics will include: Emotional and behavioral health, Innovations in environmental design, Social bonds and connections, Social prescribing and interventions to loneliness, Social isolation as a co-morbidity or cause for other health conditions, Building social capital in underserved communities, Scalable community models, Environmental inequities that reinforce social isolation, Evidence-based programs that strengthen social ties, Emerging metrics and research on social isolation, Tech innovations to reduce social isolation, Policy and the role of government in combatting the negative effects of social isolation.
