2026 Oklahoma Solar Summit

As development pressure intensifies on its working lands, Oklahoma is facing more difficult either/or land use decisions. Dual-use solar farming---known as "agrivoltaics" or AgPV---integrates solar with agriculture to gain in field performance advantages for both livestock, crops, and/or conservation. Integrated "ecovoltaics" projects incorporate ecological best practices to supercharge conservation performance. Oklahoma's ongoing economic growth is creating new opportunities on and off the farm---and energy growing pains.
