About this conference
The New Mexico Workforce Conference, hosted by the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS), is the official Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) partners' conference for the state. It convenes a broad coalition of workforce stakeholders, including NMDWS, Workforce Connection Centers, Local Workforce Development Boards, New Mexico Healthcare Authority (HCA), New Mexico Higher Education Department (HED), New Mexico Public Education Department (PED), and New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). These annual conferences are designed to foster collaboration among WIOA core partners, service providers, and workforce development organizations. Participants will have the opportunity to share insights, learn best practices, explore innovative strategies, and strengthen statewide networks, all in support of advancing New Mexico's workforce system. The events focus on day-to-day efforts necessary to create and sustain a ready and able workforce across the state, providing insights into partnerships, resources, and tools to enhance employment opportunities and inspire innovative solutions for New Mexico's job seekers and businesses.
