2026 NEA National Leadership Summit

The NEA National Leadership Summit is an annual event focused on developing activist leaders with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to lead relevant, thriving associations and to lead in their professions. The 2026 Summit's theme is "Resilience. Respect. Power. Saving Public Education and Our Democracy." It provides leadership training for educators to unite members and the nation, aiming to reclaim public education as a common good and transform it into a racially and socially just and equitable system that prepares every student to succeed in a diverse and interdependent world. The Summit features competency-based, experiential leadership development training sessions led by members, partners, and staff.
