About this conference
America 250: Preserving the Rule of Law and Judicial Independence. The conference themes reflect the American Republic's 250th anniversary in 2026, focusing on foundational principles of the justice system. It aims to remind court professionals to celebrate these principles and recommit to advancing them, ensuring the justice system is fair, accessible, and accountable. The conference will address what court professionals can do to preserve the Rule of Law and Judicial Independence amidst unprecedented attacks on the judiciary, which challenge the system's ability to deliver on its ideals and erode public trust.
