2026 Middle Management Institute

The IACAC Middle Management Institute (MMI) exposes participants to enrollment management strategies and provides an opportunity to meet a variety of admission professionals in management roles. The curriculum is based on NACAC's Admissions Middle Management Institute (AMMI) and is designed for professionals who aspire to or have been recently promoted to middle management. Sessions focus on personal and professional development, managing from the middle, advocating for yourself, making data-informed vs. data-driven decisions, the future of enrollment management, and leading vs. managing. The 2026 sessions include Leadership and Coaching, Change Management, Wellness/Work Life Balance, Ethics in Admission, Integrating Retention into Recruitment, and a Leadership Panel followed by a Networking Reception. Faculty includes Vice Presidents, Deans and Directors of Admission, and Chief Enrollment Managers from various institutions of higher learning.
