About this conference
The 2026 Michigan Harm Reduction Summit, organized by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Harm Reduction and Viral Hepatitis Prevention Unit, brings together approximately 300 professionals from across Michigan. Attendees will include public health officials, public safety personnel, nurses, physicians, social workers, community health workers, therapists, health educators, and other professionals working in the substance use space. The summit aims to explore strategies for curbing the opioid epidemic and encourages participation from individuals with lived and living experience.
