About this conference

The 2026 Michigan Counties Legislative Conference will be held from April 27-29, 2026, at the DoubleTree in Lansing. Co-hosted by the Michigan County Medical Care Facilities Council (MCMCFC), this event offers up to 9 Continuing Education (CE) hours. Attendees will gain insights into trending county policy matters and have networking opportunities with colleagues from across the state. The agenda includes remarks from Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (invited), a review of federal digital accessibility law compliance, a roundtable discussion with key legislators on expectations at the State Capitol in 2026, a status report on opioid settlement funding and spending rules, and an analysis of the 2026 elections by 'Baldly Bipartisan'. The conference also features the biannual MAC Legislative Update from the Governmental Affairs Director. Special events include a buffet dinner for mingling, a Legislative Breakfast to honor 'Legislative Advocates' from 2025, a Legislative Reception for county leaders to engage with representatives and senators, and a certificate presentation for members who earned 'Year 1' certificates from MAC’s County Commissioner Academy.

HURON Tier ($2,750): Includes a complimentary exhibit booth with prime location and two complimentary exhibitor badges (includes meals and Legislative Reception access), a final list of attendees, a full-page ad in the onsite program, recognition in the agenda booklet, signage, and conference scripts, additional announcements/fliers in registration packets, logo on MAC’s conference webpage with a link, and social media promotion (3 tweets, 3 FB posts, 3 Instagram posts).

ONTARIO Tier ($1,250): Includes a 25% discount on an exhibit booth, a half-page ad in the onsite program, recognition in the agenda booklet, signage, and conference scripts, additional announcements/fliers in registration packets, logo on MAC’s conference webpage with a link, and social media promotion (2 tweets, 2 FB posts, 2 Instagram posts).

ERIE Tier ($750): Includes a 20% discount on an exhibit booth, recognition in the agenda booklet, signage, and conference scripts, logo on MAC’s conference webpage with a link, and social media promotion (1 tweet, 1 FB post, 1 Instagram post).

ST. CLAIR Tier ($375): Includes a 15% discount on an exhibit booth, recognition in the agenda booklet, signage, and conference scripts, and logo on MAC’s conference webpage with a link.

EXHIBITOR OPPORTUNITIES ($900): Includes an 8’ x 10’ exhibit space with one skirted 8’ table and two chairs, and two exhibitor badges. MAC Affiliate and Corporate Members receive a $100 discount.

ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES: Include a full-page back cover ad ($1,275), full-page inside back cover ad ($950), full-page inside front cover ad ($950), full-page ad inside onsite program ($525), and a half-page ad inside onsite program ($275). Ad submission deadline is April 3, 2026.
