About this conference
Join us in Louisiana for the 2026 TBRI Conference---real talks, real support, all in person! Hosted by the Louisiana Supreme Court, Office of the Judicial Administrator, Division of Children and Families, and the Families in Need of Services Assistance Program (FINS-AP). TBRI is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. This training is for teachers, law enforcement, probation officers, social workers, judges, mentors, and other professionals who can work with children and families. The conference will offer two tracks with interactive breakout sessions: a Judicial Track focused on judges, probation, law enforcement, and court professionals, and a School & Family Services Track focused on educators, social workers, counselors, mentors, and family service professionals. The training focuses on understanding trauma, behavior, relationships and truancy, including how those things can affect a child’s attendance and ability to succeed in school. Attendees will have the opportunity to take a deeper dive, build skills, and learn practical ways to use TBRI in their work, leaving with tools they can implement. Lunch is provided each day.
