About this conference
The Virginia Law Enforcement Symposium is a two-day training program conducted in partnership with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. This symposium is designed for all law enforcement personnel and offers 12 hours of partial in-service credits (10 hours Career Development & 2 hours Legal) approved by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). Key training topics include legal updates and liability for police and supervisors, commercial vehicle enforcement, human trafficking identification and investigation, new technology for highway safety data analytics (DASH), advanced traffic stop procedures with legal considerations, vape shop investigative strategies, and leadership in crisis management.
