2026 Iowa Municipal Management Institute (IMMI)

The 2026 Iowa Municipal Management Institute (IMMI) will be held March 25-27 in Iowa City. This year's location is the Hilton Garden Inn, which is downtown and the hotel room block is now open for any wishing to reserve a room. Registration for the conference is also open. The keynote speaker has been secured as Steve Siemens, known at The People Builder, will join us to share tools on improving leadership skills and building up your team to reach new heights. Other sessions will include discussions on First Amendment considerations for city governments, housing and workforce solutions, incorporating cultural economy concepts into local development, the status of Iowa's property tax system, and more.
