2026 IMMA Annual Conference

The 2026 IMMA Annual Conference, hosted by the Indiana Municipal Management Association (IMMA), is dedicated to supporting municipal and county managers and advancing professional local government management across Indiana. This non-profit, non-partisan event caters to professional local government managers, including city and town managers, chief administrative officers, and assistant and deputy managers, who are committed to excellent public service. Held from April 29 to May 1, 2026, at Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana, the conference features workshops on leadership mentorship, building economic partnerships, development incentives, legislative updates, and manager wellness and balance. Key sessions cover topics such as Local Income Tax (LIT), effective inter-agency collaboration for economic growth, financial tools like Tax Increment Financing (TIF), and ethical decision-making in public service. The agenda also includes evening networking events with music and dinner, and a mobile workshop visiting a local co-working space and business incubator.
