About this conference
Registration for the most important meeting in the transportation GIS community is now open! The 2026 AASHTO GIS for Transportation Symposium is the premier event for geospatial professionals to share how they harness the power of GIS technologies to solve complex problems in transportation. Attendees can make new connections with peers from other national, state or local agencies, as well as with industry partners to discover new innovations that can elevate their skills and services. AASHTO and the GIS for Transportation (GIS-T) Symposium Planning Committee invite participants to submit abstracts for this critical GIS Symposium. GIS-T seeks presentations covering completed and ongoing projects that describe problems, solutions, their importance to the field, and how they impacted practice and capacity. All submitted abstracts are carefully reviewed for their applicability to the GIS-T Symposium audience with an emphasis on innovation and emerging topics. The event offers high quality technical content and session tracks relevant across many GIS for Transportation topics.
