2026 Georgia Solar Farm Summit

The 2026 Georgia Solar Farm Summit is a state-focused conference dedicated to advancing agrivoltaics across Georgia by exploring how solar development can integrate with working lands for mutual benefit. The summit brings together interdisciplinary practitioners across energy, agriculture, planning, and research to discuss dual-use practices, known as "agrivoltaics" or AgPV, including livestock grazing, crop raising, and conservation habitat. It will also cover ecovoltaics, which incorporate conservation best practices to enhance ecosystem services. The event focuses on responsible ground-mount solar and siting best practices, land stewardship, conservation & resilience, agriculturally-aligned development principles, and energy growth. Attendees will explore case studies, planning, design and operations best practices, and the intersection of solar with Georgia's economic and energy evolution to create new growth opportunities and strengthen local farm economies and community resilience.
