2026 GAEL Summer Conference

The 2026 GAEL Summer Conference, themed 'Live. Learn. Lead.', is an annual event for school leaders across Georgia, focusing on professional learning, networking, and celebrating educational leadership. The in-person component is held at the Jekyll Island Convention Center in Jekyll Island, Georgia, with a concurrent virtual livestream option. The conference features inspiring keynote speakers Marlon Styles and Dr. John Delony, important updates from state education leaders including GaPSC, TRS, and GHSA, legislative updates, and insights from the Governor's Office of Education Workforce Strategy on literacy work. Participants will engage in breakout sessions covering leadership, professional growth, and current challenges in education. A large GAEL Expo Hall will host over 100 companies and organizations providing resources for schools. Signature networking events include a golf tournament, Low Country Boil Celebration, Dueling Pianos Concert & Reception, and Family Fun Night at the Water Park. A Professional Learning Day offers in-depth sessions on topics like literacy updates from the Georgia Department of Education, legal updates, and Hearing Officer Training. All registrations include a complimentary GAEL Membership and one Affiliate/Associate Membership for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
