2026 Federal Liaison Network Summer Meeting

The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) invites you to attend the Federal Liaison Network Summer Meeting in Washington, D.C., on July 22-24, 2026. This two-and-a-half day meeting will include a half day at the U.S. Department of Education and a half day on Capitol Hill with House and Senate committee staff. We're excited to include a Federal Liaison dinner this year, courtesy of CCSSO. The dinner is Wednesday, July 22, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Art & Soul at Yotel Washington DC, 415 New Jersey Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. Please RSVP for this dinner when you register for the meeting. If there are others at your state education agency (SEA) who would benefit from attending this meeting, please share with them the link to this registration page. As in previous years, CCSSO has coordinated with the National Association of ESEA State Program Administrators (NAESPA) to align our meeting dates. NAESPA will hold its meeting July 20-21 in Washington, D.C. For more information on this meeting, please contact medward@eseanetwork.org. CCSSO will provide breakfast, lunch and one optional dinner for the Federal Liaison Network Summer Meeting, but the organization is unable to cover travel expenses. Meeting participants must be SEA staff and there is no registration fee for this meeting. Attire: The attire for the meeting is business casual on Wednesday and business Thursday and Friday.
