2026 FAMA Fire Apparatus Design Symposium

Join us in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Centre this November for a milestone event --- the first-ever combined FAMA Fall Meeting and Fire Apparatus Design Symposium. Building on the tremendous success of last year's inaugural Symposium, we are bringing both events together for what promises to be our most dynamic gathering yet. This symposium is designed for students (professional participants) to gain insight into key aspects of fire apparatus features that will help support specifying new apparatus. Presentations will cover the basics of apparatus specification writing and transition to in-depth training on various aspects of apparatus design. Factory representatives will provide informative and balanced presentations aimed at educating, not selling. Attendees will explore the latest in apparatus design and technology, bringing back ideas that will impact their departments immediately, leading to better informed decisions on apparatus purchases, saving money, time, and resulting in apparatus better suited for operations.
