About this conference
Join county leaders from across Mississippi for three days of education, policy development, legislative preparation, networking, and collaboration in Lee County. The Fall Educational & Policy Development Workshop brings Mississippi county officials together to strengthen their knowledge of county government, prepare for the upcoming legislative session, discuss issues affecting counties, and connect with fellow county leaders and industry partners. Educational Sessions cover timely issues including redistricting, property tax revenue, data centers, legislative preparation, and other topics affecting Mississippi counties. Policy Development involves looking ahead to the 2027 Regular Legislative Session and participating in the process leading to ratification of MAS's 2027 Legislative Agenda. Connections include meeting with fellow county officials, connecting with Meet & Greet exhibitors, and networking opportunities.
