2026 Conference for School Nutrition Administrators

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Office of School Nutrition will be holding the next conference for School Nutrition Administrators and their central office school nutrition teams this fall 2026. Join us at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham on October 21-23, 2026, as we explore ways to strengthen our foundation and build strong, successful school nutrition programs in North Carolina. The theme for this year is "From the Ground Up: Building Strong School Nutrition Programs." We are planning a variety of opportunities during the conference that will help you build and sustain strong school nutrition programs by focusing on key program foundations critical for success. Topics include leadership, building relationships, software procurement, contract management, menu forecasting, building a budget, new administrator resources, and much more! We've even added a fun excursion option for this year - a tour to the NC State Dairy Farm for a firsthand look at milk and dairy production.
