About this conference
The Colorado Emergency Management Conference is the premier annual gathering of emergency management professionals across various sectors, including government, healthcare, industry, and the private sector. The 2026 conference is a partnership between the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) and the Colorado Emergency Management Association (CEMA). It aims to foster collaboration, share best practices, and strengthen partnerships essential for effective emergency management by presenting a comprehensive agenda developed with a diverse coalition of public works, public health, hospitals, schools, universities, fire and law enforcement, local and county governments, EMS, community and volunteer organizations, and private citizens. The robust agenda features expert-led sessions, hands-on workshops, and cross-sector discussions to provide valuable insights and practical tools for enhancing preparedness and response efforts at both community and state levels in Colorado.
