About this conference

The Collective Equity Impact (CEI) Institute is a statewide convening that brings together practitioners, leaders, and partners from across the California Community Colleges ecosystem to collaborate, share promising practices, and advance equity-centered strategies that improve student outcomes. The institute provides space for dialogue, innovation, and collective problem-solving, supporting institutions in aligning their work with systemwide priorities and strengthening approaches that center student success and equity. Building on this foundation, the 2026 CEI Institute, held September 22-25, 2026 in Anaheim, CA, will highlight the goals of Vision 2030 and feature learning strands focused on transfer alignment, climate action, workforce development, generative artificial intelligence, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). Through interactive sessions and collaborative learning, participants will explore actionable strategies that support equitable access, success, and opportunity for all students across the California Community Colleges system. Through mainstage conversations, breakout sessions, hands-on pre-institute workshops, and networking opportunities, participants will explore promising practices, leadership development, and innovative strategies campuses are using in real time. The institute is anchored in Vision 2030’s promise of Equity in Access, Equity in Support, and Equity in Success.
