About this conference
The 2026 Carpool Action Summit is an all-day event focused on advancing carpooling as a key strategy to reduce congestion, improve air quality, and provide equitable access to jobs and essential services. Organized by the Carpool Council in partnership with the Public Policy Committee, the summit aims to bring together stakeholders and experts to develop a comprehensive agenda of policy, program, legislative, and advocacy activities. The goal is to elevate carpooling to the forefront of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) efforts and significantly increase its usage. The event will feature expert speakers, peer exchanges, and workgroups designed to foster collaboration and define the future of carpooling.
