About this conference

The 2026 APWA-NC Leadership & Management Division Conference offers a dynamic lineup of sessions designed to strengthen teams, spark innovation, and elevate leadership across public works communities. Attendees can expect an inspiring keynote speech focusing on building stronger teams, leading effectively, and maximizing collaboration, along with valuable opportunities to connect and network with peers from across the state. The conference also encourages the participation of rising public works leaders for group mentoring and insights into current and future issues in public works. The event provides 11 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), including one to meet the annual Ethics requirement. A golf outing hosted by LaBella Associates will kick off the conference, followed by an opening reception, social event, and carnival games with partners.
