2026 APLU Council on Strategic Communications (CSC) Summer Meeting

The CSC Summer Meeting offers senior communications and marketing leaders from public and land-grant universities a valuable opportunity to network, exchange best practices, and develop innovative ideas for improving strategic communications and marketing efforts. Key topics for discussion include: strategies for gaining community support and effectively communicating the value of higher education beyond academic achievements; leveraging artificial intelligence in university marketing and communications; insights from university presidents on challenges and opportunities facing public research universities; crafting impactful emails; optimizing institutional content visibility through AI search engine optimization; and managing institutional feedback and perceptions through brand listening.
