The 2026 Annual Spring Conference, themed 'Joy in the Library,' is the 50th iteration of this event, bringing together youth services colleagues from across New York State. Attendees can expect a day of learning, inspiration, and networking, featuring renowned authors Matt de la Peña and Rachel DiNunzio. The program includes workshops and table talks on topics such as celebrating diversity in children’s multilingual story-time, teaching children entrepreneurship, grant writing for libraries, conflict resolution with teens, genre-fying diverse children’s collections, nature literacy, public library literacy plans, and managing teen volunteer programs. An optional pre-conference event on Thursday evening offers a tour and dinner at Explore & More: The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children's Museum.
