The annual AIHEC Student Conference brings together students, faculty, and staff from Tribal Colleges and Universities to compete in academic, cultural, and artistic exercises, share best practices, participate in workshops and plenary sessions, and celebrate the Tribal College Movement. With historical attendance exceeding 1,000 participants, the conference emphasizes cultural preservation and academic development. It also serves to standardize competition rules and provide guidance for new coordinators, judges, administrators, and Tribal College and University Presidents involved in planning and managing the event.
