About this conference
The law enforcement administrative staff’s role continues to be vital to the effective operations of the Office of Sheriff. The employee must be knowledgeable of everyday operations and statutes that pertain specifically to the Office of Sheriff, skills to serve the public as well as co-workers, and tools to maintain rationality in an ever-changing world. This four-day conference will provide up to fifteen hours of extensive training and networking opportunities to office deputies, administrative staff, secretaries, and other sheriff’s office staff with a need for this training. Tentative training topics include: Ethics, Awareness, Open Records & Record Retention, Legislative & Governmental Affairs, Office of Sheriff Mandates and more.
