About this conference
Every year, the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) hosts an annual meeting to convene leaders in graduate education. The 2026 Annual Meeting, the 66th edition, offers graduate deans, associate or assistant deans, faculty or staff members, policy leaders, and graduate students an opportunity to explore key issues, gain fresh perspectives, and spark new ideas. Typical topics covered include admissions, recruitment, and enrollment; assessing student and/or workforce demand for graduate programs; badges, stackable credentials, and other non-degree graduate education; data analytics and machine learning in graduate education administration; diversity, equity, and inclusion; faculty and advising; graduate student mental health and graduate program climate; online graduate education; organizational structure and infrastructure, including graduate school technology; student financial support; and student professional development and career outcomes. The meeting will be held in Los Angeles, California at the JW Marriott LA Live. Additional details will be provided as they become available.
