Yorktown Township Drainage District 1
Work includes installing of a district tile line. The new line will be an 18" double walled plastic tile with a sock over it. One end of the new line will start at an existing well on the south side of route 92. There is presently an 8" line connected into the old main line. This 8" line will need to be hooked into the new line with an appropriate y connector. A second small lateral tile will also need to be connected to the new 18" main. To run parallel to the old line thus following the low ground will require approx 3,200' of tile. The outlet which terminates at the main ditch (south of route 92) will be 20' of thick walled pvc pipe with either a trap or flap gate. Average depth to bottom of trench is 3-4', except at outlet end thru the ditch bank where it is 10-12'.
