Water Infiltration Remediation and Building Safety Upgrades Contract No. 1 – General Construction; Contract No. 2 – Mechanical Construction. The General Contract No. 1 Contractor is responsible for the following: a. The General Contract No. 1 Contract consists of but is not limited to: 1) Water infiltration remediation and building safety upgrades for the Township Police Department. 2) Provide ballistic security improvements, including ballistic doors, windows, glazing and panels. 3) Provide new exterior electronic billboard and associated electrical work. 4) Provide exterior foundation waterproofing around the full perimeter of the building. 5) Provide epoxy injection at exterior foundation soils and within the elevator pit to mitigate groundwater infiltration. 6) Perform site and civil improvements including drainage piping upgrades, underground roof drain system, and foundation drain improvements as indicated on the plans. 7) Provide new sidewalks and restore site surfaces, including new mulch and grass areas. 8) Provide erosion and sedimentation control measures in accordance with applicable requirements. 9) Provide parking lot pavement mill and overlay with pavement markings and restriping. 10) Provide electrical demolition and new electrical work as required. 11) Provide new security camera system and associated infrastructure. 12) Perform architectural repairs and miscellaneous work, including exterior brick repair and repointing, handrail reinstallation, flashing and counterflashing installation, joint caulking, surface preparation and painting. 13) Restore site and building to its pre-project state. The Mechanical Contract No. 2 Contractor is responsible for the following: a. The Mechanical Contract No. 2 Contract consists of but is not limited to:1) Provide mechanical HVAC upgrades including ductwork modifications and diffuser/grille adjustments. Coordinate temporary heating and cooling with owner per construction documents. 2) Restore site and building to its pre-project state.
