Cold mix wedging. The cold mix paving asphaltic material shall be MC, SC Asphalt. It shall be mixed in a plant equipped with weigh belt-conveyer and automatic computer-controlled proportioning of asphalt to aggregate. All aggregates to be used in the asphaltic mixtures shall be 100% virgin in nature. No recycled asphaltic aggregates will be accepted. Cold mix must be produced and used in a continuous operation and may not be stockpiled to be used at a later date. MS hot asphalt. Resurfacing all sections approved by the town with PG 58-28 cut back liquid asphalt heated to 350 degrees and applied in a single pass up to 24' width. Cover aggregate to consist of 100% fractured black granite stone and applied in one-pass up to 24'. width. Contractor to provide cold mix pot-hole patching prior to seal coat application. Contractor will provide a truck that contains cold mix patch material including an operator to fill any potholes/voids necessary prior to the chip seal process. Aggregate to be compacted with a duo-packer consisting of both rubber and steel.
