Project Scope Includes: Sawcut existing wing wall on the roadside of the culvert. Remove existing wall and poured concrete serving as the inlet to the culvert. Excavate area for construction of a 7' tall concrete wall with a poured footer tied into the remaining wing wall. Construct a concrete wall 7' tall, 8" thick, approx. 20' long, extending north approx. 4' from the edge of Govier Road. Top of wall shall not exceed road height. Construct an approx. 9' wide by 20' long concrete apron, 6" thick, reinforced with 1/2" rebar. North portion of inlet to be excavated approx. 24" deep and poured that deep across to the north inlet to prevent undermining of the apron. Removed concrete may be piled onsite; disposal will be handled by the Township. Township will backfill the area between the wall and the road.
