Project consists of inspection of the existing foundation and floor joist system to accurately diagnose the extent of the issues, including identifying weak or damaged joists, areas of settlement, and causes of leveling issues and gaps. Floor Joist Reinforcement: Implement appropriate methods to reinforce existing floor joists to provide adequate support for the flooring system. This may include, but is not limited to, sistering joists, adding blocking, or installing additional support beams. Floor Leveling: Utilize proven techniques to level the floor system, ensuring that the entire floor surface is brought to a consistent and acceptable level. This must address any existing slopes or depressions. Gap Closure: Ensure that all existing gaps between the flooring and walls are effectively closed as a direct result of the joist reinforcement and leveling process. Preparation for New Flooring: Leave the repaired floor system in a condition suitable for the immediate installation of new flooring materials by others. This includes ensuring a stable, level, and clean subfloor surface. Debris Removal: Remove all construction debris and waste from the site upon completion of work. Compliance: All work must comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
