Supportive services include but are not limited to: • services to those aged 60 and older who are socially and economically needy. • services to those that have physical or mental disabilities. • services to those that are socially isolated. • services to those who reside in rural or urban areas. • services to those who are limited in english-speaking ability. • services to those identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (lgbtq+). Specific funding considerations will also include: • (title iii b) programs that promote independence in the community. • (title iii b) programs that reduce loneliness and social isolation. • (title iii b) programs that support access to technology. • (title iii d) evidence-based education groups, programs, or activities to foster a healthier lifestyle. South shore elder services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part and to accept proposals in the best interest of the corporation.
