The work consists of approx. The construction of a 500,000-gallon welded-steel water storage tank involving all civil, mechanical, electrical for system operation as indicated by the contract documents. 1 LS mobilization; 1 LS site clearing, grubbing, and rough excavation; 1 LS form and pour concrete tank foundation; 1 LS furnish and construct new 500,000 gallon welded steel water tank; 1 LS furnish and install piping and appurtenances for tank inlet; 1 LS furnish and install piping and appurtenances for tank distribution line and connection to pump station; 1 LS furnish and install piping and appurtenances for tank drain and overflow lines; 1 LS furnish and install pressure transducer access manhole; 1 LS installation of electrical, communication, and control systems. Work includes removal of 760' of 8" concrete truss pipe sanitary sewer main to be replaced with 8" pvc pipe. Depth is generally between 8 and 12' but includes less than 100 feet at depths greater than 15'. Includes the replacement or relocation of 3 manholes and reconstruction of golf cart path; replacement of 1,645' of 8" concrete truss pipe sanitary sewer main with 8" curvilinear hdpe pipe including horizontal and vertical curves, connection of laterals, re-construction of paved golf cart/ access roadway, grading, and surface restoration. Pipe depth varies between 4 and 20'.
