The goal of this Project is to plant up to 15,000 1-gallon native potted plants and up to 40,000 native bare-root plants for the purpose of increasing habitat complexity and plant diversity at the project site. The species diversity and plant layout/spacing has been informed from recent floodplain reconnection projects and includes a variety of plants native to western state wetlands, which provide habitat and forage for countless native animal species.
