Palmarolle

This document outlines the Family Policy and Age-Friendly Municipality (MADA) plan for Palmarolle, based on four intervention axes: welcome, communication, and citizen participation; transport, public safety, and urban planning; environment, housing, and urbanism; and leisure, health, and healthy lifestyle habits. It aims to define priorities, clarify orientations, and implement actions to improve municipal services and quality of life for both families and seniors.

The council meeting covered a range of topics including support for the Association des travaux publics d'Amérique and the Association canadienne des maîtres de poste et adjoints. Discussions also involved the Programme d'aménagement durable des forêts, and a reflection on the future of Comités jeunesse en milieu rural. The council addressed an entente de disposition de la neige avec les entrepreneurs, and an appel d'offres for déneigement des trottoirs. They also discussed the prise de possession by the Municipalité, du chemin desservant Ferme Rescator, and a demande d'acquisition de terrain sur la 3e Rue Est. Furthermore, the council discussed administrative matters such as a mandat à l'arpenteur, adhésion à l'Association de Location de Salle du Québec, and a mise à jour du Programme de revitalisation du CDP de Palmarolle. They also addressed the attribution des billets pour the Vins & Fromages et le Bières & Saucisses pour les employés municipaux et les élus, as well as the approbation d'un projet d'installation d'un ascenseur au Centre municipal and the approbation pour intégrer le projet stationnement pour VR au Relais 4H.

The council discussed and made decisions on various topics including support against the transport of liquid radioactive waste, support for projects under the Program for the Development of Forest Resources, and a request to use the municipal center's small room. They also considered a request for contribution from the Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-de-la-Confiance, support for maintaining the Centre de La Sarre for the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, and a citizen's request to lower a sidewalk edge. Additionally, they discussed public works, authorizing repairs and purchases, and addressed urban planning matters including amendments to the development plan.

The council meeting addressed several key issues, including support for the Ministère des Transports' project for repairing culverts on Route 393, and the authorization to request a new Visa Affaires card for the municipality. They also discussed and authorized the signing of a servitude act in favor of Hydro-Québec.
