Ozark Special Road District

The Ozark Special Road District work study session included discussions on equipment updates, such as repairs to a JD Loader, readiness of a JD asphalt roller, and the potential sale of an old Cat roller. Commissioners considered the cost-effectiveness of repairing a newer JD mower. An offer of $350,000 was discussed for the purchase of a property, contingent on rezoning and satisfactory Geo Technical Investigation. Updates were provided on the McCauley Bridge and Blue Stem Culvert projects, with considerations for cost-sharing with the City of Ozark on the latter. There was also an update on Capital Materials Paving and Construction, including brush issues and roadway improvement possibilities. The District decided not to proceed with covering the engineering costs for the 18th Street Extension.
