The committee reviewed general announcements regarding FAFSA deadlines, university applications, and campus events, and received updates from the Academic Senate Executive Committee. Action items resulted in the approval of policies concerning multiple and overlapping enrollments, grade changes, Pass/No Pass options, and dismissal and readmission procedures. Furthermore, the committee discussed updates to policies regarding library and instructional support services, field trip procedures, language adjustments for the community services program, and policies for class adds, drops, and withdrawals.

The board discussed a proposal to change the term academic probation to academic notice, ultimately deciding to request further ideas from faculty. Financial approvals were granted for parking permits for board members, funds for a coffee chat event, and live music for an election event. The board received reports regarding union perspectives on faculty contracts and a petition concerning access to gym and pool facilities for River Trail Village residents. Additionally, the meeting included discussion on upcoming events, such as the Party on the Plaza and graduation stoles.

The board reviewed and adopted the 2026/2027 annual budget and planning, including financial projections for various program areas. Updates were provided on the Executive Director's operational reports, grant funding for community engagement, and food services performance. Key actions included the ratification of an MOU for wine education training, approval of new healthcare training agency contracts, and the authorization of new programs such as the Adaptive PE and athletics training center. Additionally, the board approved vending machine contracts, adopted the policy and procedure manual, and reviewed quarterly financial reports.

The meeting included discussions on several action items, including the approval of various contracts and agreements such as the Viticulture & Winery Technology Foundation operating agreement, a retainer continuation for legal services, and the program with Ecogreen Solutions. The Board also discussed and approved the five-year capital outlay and construction plan, the 2026-2027 tentative budget, and the discontinuance of the Digital Design and Graphics Technology programs. Furthermore, the Board reviewed and approved several board policies and administrative procedures, appointed a provisional trustee, and confirmed employment contracts for the Acting Superintendent/President and the DSPS Interim Director. Discussions regarding a memorandum of understanding for the Napa Valley Tennis Association were postponed to the next meeting.

This plan serves as a roadmap, developed through extensive input and data analysis, to guide the institution's long-term direction and foster a supportive environment for its community.
