The purpose of this project is to remove sub merchantable American Beech, ironwood and striped maple greater than 4 ft tall and less than 5 inches. Trees should be fully severed at the stump and stumps should not be more than 6 inches tall. The removal of these species will reduce competition for the more desired hardwood species within this stand.
