The Maine Public Utilities Commission seeks a qualified consulting firm to audit the cost-allocation methodologies used by investor-owned utilities for interconnecting small generators, including evaluation of direct and indirect cost components and verification of tariff/regulatory compliance. The consultant will analyze CMP and Versant Power interconnection methodologies, identify and quantify any mis-allocations or non-compliant allocations, estimate financial impact, and provide draft and final reports with actionable recommendations. The work will commence July 1, 2026, conclude with a final report by February 28, 2027, and requires conflict-of-interest disclosures and required certifications.
