The meeting included recognition of Lucas Vail for representing Lakeview Schools and rural districts. Public comments addressed concerns about rules and expectations at Friday night football games. An audit presentation was given by Rehmann, including an overview of audit documents. Updates were provided by elementary, middle, and high school principals, covering activities, academic data, attendance, and achievements. The athletic director discussed fall sports, the closure of The Alley Cat, and the 25-26 Advisory Committee. The food service reported on new dip flavors and Apple Crunch Day. The facilities director noted GRBS custodial is fully staffed and the sale of buses. The transportation department reported on recruiting efforts and a successful State Police inspection. The superintendent updated the board on the bond project, enrollment, and staffing. The board discussed an athletic trainer update, strategic planning, and board goals. They approved the summer tax resolution and a hockey co-op agreement with Sparta Schools.

The meeting included recognition of Lakeview Elementary for its Building Healthy Communities Program and high ranking in the state. Administrative reports covered elementary enrollment, middle school construction updates, high school SAT proficiency, athletics, food service, facilities, and transportation. The Superintendent provided updates on construction projects, enrollment, the cancellation of the JV Football program, and the state budget. The board approved personnel recommendations, and the addition of an assistant cross country coach.

The board discussed strategic plan development, confirming that current goals encompass academics, communication, and community involvement. The board also decided to add a page for Board Expectations to the website, with board members submitting ideas by December 15, 2025, for finalization at the January board meeting.

The meeting included presentations on a new AP US History curriculum and changes to the Coach's Handbook. The board discussed and later approved the addition of the AP US History course. They also discussed the 147G grant for healthcare reimbursement and approved using general fund money to cover any shortfalls. Additionally, the board approved various donations, including those from Youth Basketball and Sports Boosters for new retractable Middle School basketball hoops, and from Community First for a Hudl live stream ad. Policies were approved from Update Vol 39 No 2, along with administrative contracts, increased professional development and school business meal reimbursement amounts, and the School Resource Officer Contract.

The 2023-2028 Continuous Improvement Plan for Lakeview Community Schools outlines the vision of Lakeview Graduates being Responsible, Resourceful, and Resilient, and the mission of achieving quality education for all learners through teamwork. The plan focuses on improving English Language Arts and Mathematics proficiency, as well as promoting a well-rounded education. Strategies include MTSS, guaranteed curriculum, family engagement, data-based decision-making, collective responsibility, and expanded learning time, with activities listed on the MICIP Activities Worksheet.
