The Board of Trustees convened virtually to discuss several key items. The audit report was delayed, and a consent agenda was approved for minutes, treasurer's report, budget report, and MOS report. The board addressed an incorrect amount on the disbursements list for AARP Healthcare. The board also discussed a prevailing wage ordinance, generator replacement, filter underdrain replacement project, and repairs to the Low Lift Pump Station Revetment East Land Side. The board approved bidding documents for the Filter Underdrain Replacement and Main Plant and Low Lift Generator Replacement. The board also discussed and postponed the approval of the Revised Correll 404(c) Investment Advisory Services Agreement and discussed intake inspection updates and mutual aid.

The board discussed the nominations for the fiscal year 2025, facilities insurance renewal, modifying the personnel budget item, and reports for fiscal year 2024. The board also discussed the grant writing services, bid results for Low Lift Pump #2 Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Replacement, End of Year Projections for availability & R&R charges, and update on Facilities Cost Estimate. In addition, the board discussed the Clark Dietz (CDI) Proposal for Consulting Engineer Services, Estimated Revenue Delivery Requirement and Estimated Water Rate for FY2025, Bond Principal & Interest Payment, Ground Storage Tank Stone, Approval of Concentric Support Services Agreement for FY 2025, Approval for Bidding Brickwork Tuckpointing at Low Lift Pump Station, and Approval of Revision to Sec. 501 Safety of the Employee Handbook.

The report discusses the financial statements of the Lake County Public Water District for the years ended April 30, 2019 and 2018. It includes an independent auditor's report, management's responsibility for the financial statements, and the auditor's responsibility. The report also covers opinions on the financial statements, required supplementary information, and other information related to revenue delivery requirement, availability charge, repair and replacement charges, and rate per thousand gallons for water delivery.

The board reviewed the annual audit report for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2011, including operations, demand for water, depreciation, personnel and pension costs, OPEB accrual, and rate calculation. They also discussed the plant upgrade project, the North West Lake Michigan Planning Group, Kellogg Creek project, Chlorine Scrubber, Second Raw Water Crossing Project, Intake Pipeline Project, North Solids Contact Unit, Plant Survey, Stainless Steel Rusting. The board also discussed Representative JoAnn Osmond's visit, roofing, raw water pump, replacement gate and new legislation.

The meeting included discussions on the Plant Upgrade to 6.5 mgdd Project, Chlorine Scrubber, Kellogg Creek, and Northwest Lake Michigan Planning Group. The board also discussed the Intake Pipeline Project, North Solids Contact Unit, Plant Survey, Windstorm damage, and Truck Bids. Additionally, there was a discussion regarding stainless steel rusting and right of way issues.
