The services to be bid on is meter changeouts for the County Water District. Bids should be submitted for changing out meters that are direct-bury AND meters that are on setters. If the bidder wishes to provide a separate price for replacing existing meters that are direct-bury type or those that are already on a setter, then the bidder should specify that in their bid. New Neptune Mach 10 (5/8” X 3/4, 1”, 2”, etc.) meters with cellular endpoints will be provided by Owner. The existing customer meters that are being replaced will need to be returned to Owner. There is no bid form to be used. Scope of work is as follows: Each existing customer meter at locations that Owner specifies will be replaced with a new Neptune Mach 10 meter with cellular endpoint that Owner will provide. Once the new meter is installed, the successful bidder will ensure that the customer has water, and that the meter and service line is not leaking and that the newly installed meter is functional to read customer consumption and that the cellular encoder is working with the Neptune Field Manager app to get the consumption reporting correctly into Neptune 360.The service line material on both the utility side AND the customer side of the meter will be identified and this data logged in the ESRI Field Maps app on a mobile device that is logged in to Owner’s GIS with an account that Owner will provide to the awarded bidder. The date this is completed with pictures will also be recorded in the GIS. Paper logs are also to be submitted documenting work completed.
