Work includes replacing the running rail of both tracks. One of the rails has been broken and it has been noticed that the rail is also showing signs of corrosion due to electrolysis. Modifications to the track drainage will also be accomplished on the north side of the crossing to alleviate the cause of the rail electrolysis. See attached file.

Project will replace four (4) in-ground heavy-duty lifts with new 40-foot scissors lifts; 4 EA modification of each existing pit to accept the rear post of the new lift, according to the manufacturer's drawings and instructions; 4 EA aw cutting of floor and installation of 4-inch schedule 40 pvc drainpipe, shallow sump and installation of 8-inch floor drain in each pit. Each drain must be tied into the existing oil/water separator system. See attached file.

This project includes modifications to various red line stations due to the new rail car fleet being approx. 16" narrower than the existing fleet. This will require platform extensions to maintain ada clearance between the car and the edge of platform. Several platforms were lengthened to allow for 3 car berthing. Other modifications include repairs to the platforms and railings. See attached file.
